Bowfell House is a new-build 40-bed care home for which we were successful in competitive tender to carry out the plumbing, heating, air conditioning and ventilation works; the plumbing works also included installation of the sprinkler system and laundry equipment. Working on site from start to finish is always a great opportunity for us to demonstrate our ability to deliver a complete ‘turn-key’ package to the client on-time and in budget.

	Boiler Room In addition to the 2 main boilers, the space also houses the main control panel and associated pumps and control valves.
	Residential Rooms The 40 ensuite rooms were finished to a high standard for both comfort, safety, and practicality of use.
	Laundry & Staff Facilities High capacity washing machines and gas-fired driers ensure the care home can cope with expected wash loads.
	Ventilation Heat recovery units ensure that ventilation to all areas of the building is energy efficient.
	Sprinkler System The sprinkler feed tank is located in a space adjacent to the boiler room and provides a back-up store of water should there be any failure of mains water supply.
	Air conditioning The outdoor units are mounted at roof level and screened from view.
	Communal Areas Plumbing to all communal areas within the building has been finished to the same high standards as the accommodation.
	Treatment Rooms Treatment rooms offering hair dressing and nailcare etc. are finished to be functional and aesthetically pleasing.
